Love is in the air!

I have some new prints heading to the Found Cottage this week! It's not hard to see what inspired these new prints....LOVE! They are planning an awesome event on Thursday, Shop with a Sweetheart, and it's going to be so great. Are you going?!

When I was creating some of these prints, I was listening to James Taylor (I love him) and so I'm surprised there isn't one on here that says "How sweet it is to be loved by you" or "I'm going to Carolina in my mind" I could go on and on. There's something about his songs that makes my heart happy. Stay tuned though, we don't just celebrate love in February around here! And if James Taylor isn't your thing, I've got you covered with The Beatles;) After all, love is all you need.

The Found Cottage: Opening Weekend!

My husband is a big hunter and we live for "opening weekend" here at the kbelt house. When I say we, I mean he and my boys of course! This weekend is a bit different than deer camp, it's better (in my opinion!) A FABULOUS new store called, The Found Cottage, opened it's doors this weekend and it just that, pretty darn fabulous. I am beyond excited to be a part of it! I have all of my prints at the store, along with my perpetual calendars and my weekly menu planners. Friends, you need to go check this place out! There is something for everyone and at every price range. There are three amazing and talented woman behind the store and I couldn't be happier for them!

Thank you so much for all of the support. I can't wait to see what 2016 holds for kbelt designs! I hear an actual website is in store...it's about time, right?! If you can't make it to the store and would like something shipped to you, as always, just let me know and I can get it in the mail or we can always meet up if you're local.

Happy Friday! Here are a few pics of my items in the store! I was there on Thursday night for the grand opening and I"m excited to return tomorrow morning. See you there!
I spy some weekly menu planners!
Some framed prints along the super cute chalkboard wall.

Perpetual calendar to record all of the anniversaries and birthdays of your family and friends along with my weekly menu planners (with a perforated grocery list!) Side note: the jewelry that you see is super cute and is also at the store!

Many blessings!

What a great day yesterday for the Zeeland Peddlers Market! The sun was out (the rain was not..wahoo!) and the wind was, well, in full force. That didn't stop us! Thank you to all who came out to the market and stopped by the booth! I had a great time meeting all of you! Also, the music was great and it was nice meeting so many other vendors.

Here are some pics of the booth. A big shout out to my sisters and sister-in-law who helped me at the booth all day. It was so nice to have help and some company:)

Stay tuned for more! Let me know if you were there and have any questions on ordering etc. Enjoy this beautiful Sunday!

Time to color!

So I need to share a great product that we love over here. Recently, I posted some new placemats that I created. I mentioned these placemats are great for playdoh and also writing fun as well (they are dry erase!) They can practice writing their name, letters or just scribble;)

Well, we recently came across dry erase crayons and we LOVE them over here. They.are.great. You may already know about them (maybe I'm behind..could very well be.) I bought these a few months ago at Hobby Lobby but never tried them. How's that for impulse buy?! Anyway, I hauled them out while we were playing with our placemats the other day and they worked out perfectly. Wipe right off and don't leave any residue. Also good to note, I usually use baby wipes to wipe off dry erase marker because I always have them around and they work so good.

If you have these placemats, or other dry erase tools, I thought I would pass the fun along! If I'm behind and you all know about these, it's ok, I'm cool with being the only one excited about dry erase crayons.

If you're interested in grabbing a placemat from me, just check out the "placemat" page to the right and let me know what one(s) you like the best.  They go for $12 OR 2 or more, for $10 a piece. If you want your little ones name on the placemat, I do offer custom ones for $15. They are nice and sturdy and measure 11x17.  I've heard of a couple people that are putting them in their kiddos Easter basket, great idea! I haven't thought that far, please tell me I'm not alone! Time to get on that;)

New Prints!

Ian has been learning the ABC bible verses this past year and that makes my mommy heart so happy. My mother-in-law is an amazing teacher and I owe her for planting the seed and starting this with him.  I jotted them down for us to work on at home, on a plain, white sheet of paper, and proceeded to stick it on the fridge. Useful yes, pleasing to the eye? Not so much. I decided to spruce them up to put in the boys room and thought others might like to have them as well!

I have three different designs.  One is more of a chalkboard look, so that one is great anywhere in the home. The other two I created with playrooms and kids rooms in mind, but I would put them up anywhere really..kids bathroom or hallway perhaps?

The other two prints have the Fruits of the Spirit from Galatians on them. I've always wanted them displayed in our home but never really found one that went with the aesthetic of our home and I finally made one myself! Such a great reminder of how we should live and act everyday.

So here they are folks. Let me know what you think! I'll have these at the Mom2Mom sale on Saturday as well.

Birthday Calendars!

A few years ago, I stumbled across an old Dutch birthday calendar at my in-laws house. I loved the concept and I made a bunch of them for Christmas gifts and a couple of shows. Jump ahead a few years, and it was time to update them!

We are so reliant on technology and if you're like me, you just love a good calendar. There are still birthdays of those loved ones that can sneak up on you, even with those friendly facebook reminders.   After all, Grandpa and Grandma might not be on facebook (I'm always shocked to see those over the age of 80 on facebook!), Mom and Dad's anniversary, your pet's birthday and the list goes on.  I've given this as a gift and input all of our families birthdays and anniversaries before hand, so it's all set to go!

Here are the two styles of birthday calendars that I'll have available at the Mom2Mom sale at Community Reformed Church on Saturday.  I made a vintage flower inspired calendar as well as a tribal/aztec/modern one (how's that for the correct term?!)  They are spiral bound and measure 7x13.

Have you ever heard of a birthday calendar? Let me know what you think!
