New Placemats!

So if your kiddos are like mine, they LOVE playdoh. And if you're like me, you don't so much enjoy the aftermath of an hour of playdoh fun on the counter tops. Can someone say, giant playdoh-residue mess? Insert, these puppies! We have been using our placemats since Christmas time and the boys love using them.  Although using them as playdoh placemats are not the only thing we use them for!

Have I mentioned your little one can practice writing their name, letters, and numbers with a dry erase marker?  My little guys are always looking for a surface to doodle on.  can also create a custom one that includes your little one's name, so they can practice writing it out (and also distinguish theirs from their siblings and avoid the inevitable meltdown. What, that doesn't happen at your house?)

I initially made these for all three kiddos for a Christmas gift, but now have decided to design a bunch more! Here are the current options I have available for sale.

I will be at the Community Reformed Church Mom2Mom sale on Saturday, March 14 from 9-12. Come say hi and check them out! I will have other fun goodies available as well. If you can't make the sale, but would like to purchase a placemat, just let me know.

All placemats are 17x11 and are nice, thick dry-erase laminate. So, which one is your favorite?

I'm back!

It's been FAR too long since I've posted to this blog! Needless to say, I have some cleaning up to do. I've been busy with a lot of different projects; creating wedding invitations, logos, birth announcements, really awesome corporate projects and a bunch of great items in between. Erik and I welcomed a new little miracle into our family and I decided to quit my corporate job, to stay home full time with my kiddos. So it's safe to say this momma has been busy!

I am blessed to be able to do what I love and I will definitely be spending some more time over here. I have a lot of updating to do on this blog and I can't wait to start! So welcome to my new adventure as I juggle time at home with my three little monkeys and exercise my creativity by doing what I love.

I've been working on some Christmas cards for the holiday season, and even though it's December 2, there's still time to order! If you're like me, sending those cards out has been on the list for about a week now and I just haven't pulled the trigger. Here are some new designs that are available and I always can create something custom if you don't see something here you love. Contact me if you're interested in learning more!

Time for some baby love!

Well I'm back and boy have I been busy...busy loving on my new little babe! Alden Jon was joyfully welcomed to the world on November 5 and we couldn't be more excited to have two little boys in the house. I will admit, having two babes in under two years is a bit of work and sleep is something I know very little of, but it's totally worth it. Isn't he adorable?!

This was the Konynenbelt family Christmas card this year (and birth announcement!) Thank you to the very talented, Sara Leo, for taking the family photos.

Since this past fall I had the blessing of working with two very sweet brides to prepare wedding packages for their special day. The fun part of creating wedding packages is that no two brides are the same. One had a very classic and elegant wedding in Cape Cod (with a very nuetral color pallet) and the other one is a beach wedding (with vibrant colors of coral and turquoise.) Two very beautiful looks and two very beautiful brides! I was so excited to work with my friend Beth on her wedding package because we've been friends since Middle School. Her wedding is coming right up and I couldn't be more excited for her. Here are just a few pieces:

New Items!

So I've been playing around lately and coming up with some new items. I'm working on a new Celebration Calendar as well as an "Oh Baby!" Emergency Pack right now and I will post those when I am finished with them (hopefully soon!)

I've had some requests for blank designs, so here are some that I've finished recently. I hope you enjoy them.  These blank cards can also be made into wall prints and would look striking with a nice thick mat around them. Don't you think? Spring is in the air so hello poppy, tangerine and rose color hues!

Below are some cards that will be included in an 8 card coordinating set. There are two more of the congrats design that say "thank you" and "welcome", one more blank leaves design, and one more stripe design that says "hello" making an Emergency Pack of 8 coodinating cards.

Here are some 8x10 prints that would nicely finish off a kitchen wall. They can be made with any color scheme. I'm always looking for kitchen wall art, outside of the coffee cups and wine bottle designs that seem to flood the market! I am working on some more kitchen wall art and if you're interested, come back soon to see them.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to have another Celebration Calendar and a Baby Themed Emergency Pack finished soon. Stay tuned!

Yeah for 2011!

I don't what it is, but I love calendars. I try to be organized (another blog post topic all in itself!) and what best to help you with that, than calendars. I especially dig ones with really cool patterns and colors.

I've designed some different styles for the Artist Open House coming up on Saturday (you should go!)

I have a desktop calendar for all you people like me who sit in a cube, and let's face it, they need some sprucing up. This also will look great hanging in a home office or anywhere you need a month's glance.

I also designed some Celebration Calendars. What's a Celebration Calendar you ask? The months include a list of all the dates, so you can record important annual events, such as birthdays and anniversaries. They are also called perpetual calendars, pretty common in the Netherlands actually. You'll always be prepared!  The sizes of the Celebrations Calendars are 4x11.(Note: There are two different styles in the Celebration Calendar.)

Magnet Calendars are also nice to have on hand. I love having one on my fridge so I can see the year at a glance. They are 5x7 and are mounted on a magnet.

Welcome

Here we go!
k+belt DESIGNS is underway and I couldn't be more excited! This is a product of many nights playing on the computer and doodling designs on paper. Ever since I can remember, I've absolutely LOVED to create things. Drawing and textile designs has always been an obsession of mine, so when I was in college and did some graphic design work, it all fit into place.  I hope you enjoy what you see and please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests. I have many more projects to add on here, so please come back often to see what's new!

Here are some pictures of the cards that I sold at the Legacy Christian Craft Show today. We had a great time and are always learning something new. Today's hot picks were the "emergency" card set, thank you cards and Christmas cards (it's crazy we're already talking about Christmas!)
